The third floor is reserved for brides. Here is the four-chapter walk we take with every bride, the timeline from first visit to wedding day, and the trousseau ledger we keep in your name — billed once, packed in trunks, opened only on the morning of the wedding.

Most brides finish their trousseau across three sittings spread over four weeks. We block the third-floor room for two-hour afternoons, draped, photographed, family weighed in. Below is the typical rhythm — but we go faster or slower as the family needs.

We deliver to the wedding hall the morning-of, ironed and folded by hand. Or you carry them home in trousseau trunks. Choose what you like.

മുഹൂർത്ത സാരി
The first saree. The one you'll be tied in.
Muhurtham. The saree the groom ties around you at the moment the priest finishes the mantra. It must be silk — for the gods. It must be wearable for three hours of standing, sitting, photographing, hugging-aunties. And it must look like the saree you'll show your daughter, decades from now.
We help you pick from Kanjeevaram (heavy, structural, gold borders), Banarasi (lighter, Mughal motifs), Kasavu kettu (Kerala tradition, cream and gold), or a Paithani if your family has Marathi roots. The mother is welcome. The mother-in-law is welcome. The grandmother is given the soft chair.

The lehenga & the receptions.
For the engagement, the haldi, the sangeet, the reception, the second-reception, the after-party. We don't believe in one lehenga — most brides leave with three: a haldi-friendly light piece (mustard or marigold), a sangeet stunner (mirror, sequin), and the reception centrepiece (zardozi, French knot, dabka).
Blouse stitching is in-house — your measurements stay on file, the blouse arrives in 6–8 days, and the first trial is by the second visit. Dupatta drape is your choice — Mumbai-style, Kerala kasavu-pleat, or Banarasi free-fall.

രണ്ടാം ദിന സാരി
The second-day saree. Lighter on the body, heavy on the photographs.
The morning after the wedding — the long lunch with relatives who only just arrived, the visit to the bride's home, the temple in the evening. You can't wear another 900-gram Kanjeevaram. We give you a Mysore crepe in a deep jewel tone, a Banarasi organza with pearl-work, or a Kasavu tissue with a small gold border.
This is the saree you'll wear in the family group photograph. Choose something the children won't pull strings out of. Choose something photographable in a 60-watt bulb. Choose something the relatives will remember.

സമ്മാന സാരികൾ
The trousseau ledger. Twelve, twenty-one, or a hundred sarees.
For the bride's gift-list — the mother-in-law, the sister-in-law, every aunt by name. We open a ledger in your name on the day of the first visit. Each saree gets a tag with the recipient written on it. We bill once, at the end. We pack everything in trousseau trunks — wooden, lined with muslin and dried sandalwood — on the morning of delivery.
The ledger stays open until the wedding. You can change your mind. You can return any saree we haven't billed for. You can add ten more in the last week. This is what we mean by a trousseau room.

None of these are required. They help us help you faster — that's all. The trousseau room is air-conditioned, has soft seating for the family, and the tea arrives within ten minutes of you sitting down.
